PADMA BUSHAN MS BACHENDRI PAL

The spark desire of to achieve something great can create a lighting fire of success if someone the determination is strong. Born and brought up in a humble family of farmers and shepherds, she always dreamt of achieving milestones. May 24, 1954, was the day when Ms Bachendri Pal was born. The hunger of creating history with her name inspired her to successfully write Padma Bhushan in front of her name. We are pleased to introduce her journey 1994 rafting with 16 other girls from calcutta to 1600km on the banks of ganga through our upcoming commercial film/webseries. We are thankful to Ms Pal for providing us her sole rights to make this commercial film/webseries in our upcoming project.

Padma Bhushan Ms Bachendri Pal is a name that echoes the heights of Mount Everest and inspires countless women and men to push beyond their limits and chase their dreams. In 1982, Ms Pal was selected to join an all-women’s expedition team and then started the journey of creating history at the summit of Mount Everest. The successful voyage of Ms Pal was never easy as she underwent rigorous training for several months, facing numerous challenges and setbacks along the way. But having said, an unwavering spirit, strong determination and the hunger for success can do miracles. One such happened on May 23, 1984, when Ms Pal became the first Indian woman to summit Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world.

Ms Pal’s strong resolute and persistence made her a national hero and an inspiration for millions of women across India. She went on to become a celebrated mountaineer and led several expeditions to various peaks in the Himalayas. Her love for the mountains and her dedication to mountaineering converted her name to gold when it was included in the list of numerous accolades and awards receivers, including the prestigious Padma Bhushan, India’s third-highest civilian award.

However, Ms Pal’s achievements protract far beyond mountaineering. She is a vocal advocate for women’s empowerment, education, and environmental conservation. She founded the Bachendri Pal Mountaineering Institute in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, to train young people, especially women, in mountaineering and outdoor activities. She has also contributed her efforts with several organizations to promote environmental conservation and raise awareness about climate change.

Being a shining example of what hard work, perseverance, and a burning desire to achieve greatness can result in, Ms Pal’s life is a living motivation for all people. She has inspired countless women and men across India and the world to chase their dreams, push beyond their limits, and make a difference in the world. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations of mountaineers, adventurers, and change-makers for years to com
